Overview

The Social Media & Communication Executive is responsible for managing Heritage Resorts digital presence by creating impactful social content, building and nurturing online communities, and enhancing the digital guest experience. The role plays a key part in storytelling, sustainability communication, real-time event coverage, and supporting data-driven content strategies across platforms.

This role will be based in Bel Ombre.

Your role
  • Develop and implement a strategic content calendar across all relevant platforms, ensuring content is engaging, on-brand, and optimised for reach and performance.
  • Ensure consistency in brand tone, messaging, and visual identity across all digital and social channel.
  • Collaborate with creative and operational teams (e.g., videographers, designers, sustainability, and guest services) to produce authentic content and align messaging across all touchpoints.
  • Create and curate original digital content, including short-form videos, storyboards, and visuals that bring the brand to life and reflect resort life and key events.
  • Manage community engagement by monitoring interactions, responding promptly and professionally, and escalating guest queries or concerns to relevant teams.
  • Foster a positive brand image through active reputation monitoring and community management, ensuring alignment with brand values and sustainability goals.
  • Track and analyse performance metrics such as engagement, community growth, and sentiment, using insights to refine strategies and content direction.
  • Prepare monthly performance reports, highlighting key trends, results, and recommendations for ongoing improvement.
  • Manage influencer and content creator collaborations, including vetting, briefing, and campaign support in line with brand positioning.
  • Oversee and update the in-resort web app, ensuring a seamless and informative guest experience that supports both marketing and operational objectives.
Your profile
  • 2-3 years’ experience in social media, communication, or digital marketing
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and audience behaviour
  • Excellent writing skills in both English and French
  • Proficient in Canva and CapCut for content creation
  • Highly organised, self-motivated, and able to work independently
  • Comfortable managing several brands and juggling multiple deadlines
  • A collaborative attitude and willingness to support event coverage and cross-functional teams
  • Mandatory: Valid driver’s license and own vehicle
