As a Site Supervisor , you will be responsible for overseeing on-site operations for residential solar projects. You will lead and coordinate a team of technicians and subcontractors to ensure installations are completed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with quality standards. Additionally, you will manage transportation, site logistics, stock inventory, and daily reporting to the Project Leader.
Site Management & Supervision:
→ Supervise and coordinate daily work of technicians and subcontractor teams.
→ Ensure all work is carried out according to project plans, safety standards, and quality requirements.
→ Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, resolve issues, and optimize workflow.
→ Enforce compliance with safety protocols and ensure a secure working environment.
Transport & Logistics:
→ Manage transportation of team members, tools, and materials to project sites.
→ Ensure all necessary equipment is available on-site to prevent delays.
→ Optimize logistics to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Inventory & Stock Management:
→ Work closely with the storekeeper to track, receive, and distribute necessary materials and tools.
→ Maintain an updated inventory of site materials, consumables, and equipment.
→ Report stock shortages or damaged materials to prevent project delays.
Project Coordination & Reporting:
→ Provide daily reports on work progress, challenges, and site conditions to the Project Leader.
→ Collaborate with project teams to ensure installations align with project schedules.
→ Assist in preparing and reviewing the Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for specific projects.
→ Suggest improvements in work processes to enhance efficiency and quality.
→ Technical Expertise – Strong background in solar PV electrical installations.
→ Leadership & Team Management – Ability to supervise and guide technicians & subcontractors.
→ Organizational & Planning Skills – Effective in managing site operations and logistics.
→ Communication & Reporting – Clear and professional communication with project teams.
→ Problem-Solving – Ability to troubleshoot on-site challenges and make quick decisions.
→ Safety & Compliance – Strong commitment to workplace safety and regulatory compliance.
→ Driving License – Required for transporting equipment and team members.
