We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Internal Auditor to join the dynamic Management Office of the ER Group. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the integrity and performance of diverse business segments within the Group.

• Assist management in performing risk-based internal audit assignments across various business units and functions, including travelling to different sectors/overseas.

• Support the development and execution of the annual audit plan, based on risk assessments and organisational priorities.

• Gain a thorough understanding of the business processes under review by collecting and analysing relevant documentation, while fostering strong, collaborative relationships with stakeholders.

• Identify and evaluate key risks, perform testing of internal controls, and communicate findings and recommendations to relevant stakeholders during audit engagements

• Prepare clear, concise, and well-documented audit reports for senior management and stakeholders.

• Follow up on audit findings to ensure timely and effective remediation of issues.

• Make use of technology for internal audit assignments

• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior internal auditors, ensuring audit quality and professional development. Assess how well the business is complying with rules, regulations and the code of ethics and inform management of any issues that need to be addressed promptly.

• Stay updated on evolving industry standards, regulations, and emerging risks.

• Assist the audit team in building and maintaining a performance-driven culture throughout the organisation.

• Education: Degree in Accounting or related field; ACA/ACCA qualification (part or full) preferred.
• Experience: 3-4 years in Internal audit, with a solid understanding of audit methodologies.
• Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and French.
