We are looking for a Senior Internal Audit Manager to strategically lead ER Group’s internal audit function and manage its day-to-day operations across diverse business segments. This is to ensure that governance, risk management, and internal controls are robust, effective, and aligned with the group’s strategic objectives. The role also supports the development of a performance-driven audit culture and contributes to enterprise-wide combined assurance.

• Oversee planning, execution, and finalisation of complex audits; ensure quality and consistency in deliverables.
• Present findings to senior stakeholders; collaborate for timely remediation; maintain strong relationships with external auditors.
• Define and enforce the internal audit charter; align audit activities with ER Group’s strategic priorities; report to senior management and Boards/Audit Committees.
• Collaborate closely in the implementation of a group combined assurance programme across all lines of defence.
• Mentor and coach the audit team; manage schedules, resources, and performance.
• Monitor compliance; conduct risk assessments; stay abreast of emerging risks and audit standards.
• Work with external service providers for specialist reviews and co-sourced engagements.

Qualifications & Experience:

• ACCA/ACA qualified; CIA certification preferred. Additional qualifications in IT (CISA), compliance, forensic audit, or sustainability are advantageous.
• 8–10 years’ internal audit experience, including at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Proven ability to lead audit teams and deliver strategic assurance.
