Overview
The receptionist is responsible for providing excellent customer service, managing front desk operations, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for visitors, members, and staff. They serve as the first point of contact, handling inquiries, bookings, payments, and administrative tasks to ensure smooth daily operations.
Your role
- Greet and assist members, visitors, and guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Answer phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries regarding memberships, facilities, and events.
- Register new members and process membership renewals.
- Provide information about the services, programs, and facilities of Synergy and Moka Rangers.
- Provide information about sports programs, classes, and schedules.
- Process new memberships, renewals, and cancellations.
- Maintain accurate records of members and visitors.
- Manage payments and financial transactions for Synergy and Moka Rangers.
- Collect payments for memberships, facility rentals, and classes.
- Issue receipts and maintain financial records.
- Handle cash and card transactions securely.
- Facilitate the sale of both consumable and non-consumable products.
- Maintain cleanliness and order at the front desk and reception area.
- Assist with data entry, filing, and reports related to attendance and memberships.
- Coordinate with trainers, coaches, and management for scheduling and operational updates.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the daily smooth operation of the center.
- Ensure visitors follow safety protocols and guidelines.
- Monitor access to the centre and ensure only authorized individuals enter.
- Respond to emergency situations and report incidents to management.
- Assist in organizing sports events and promotional activities.
- Report maintenance issues or facility concerns to the appropriate department.
- Support marketing and communication efforts by distributing promotional materials.
- Ability to work on sundays and public holidays on a roaster basis
Your profile
- HSC / Bac / International Baccalaureat.
- A License in hospitality will be an advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a dynamic environment.
- Basic knowledge of membership management software or the ability to learn quickly.
- Positive, customer-service-oriented attitude.
- Passion for fitness and well-being.
