Overview

The receptionist is responsible for providing excellent customer service, managing front desk operations, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for visitors, members, and staff. They serve as the first point of contact, handling inquiries, bookings, payments, and administrative tasks to ensure smooth daily operations.

Your role
  • Greet and assist members, visitors, and guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Answer phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries regarding memberships, facilities, and events.
  • Register new members and process membership renewals.
  • Provide information about the services, programs, and facilities of Synergy and Moka Rangers.
  • Provide information about sports programs, classes, and schedules.
  • Process new memberships, renewals, and cancellations.
  • Maintain accurate records of members and visitors.
  • Manage payments and financial transactions for Synergy and Moka Rangers.
  • Collect payments for memberships, facility rentals, and classes.
  • Issue receipts and maintain financial records.
  • Handle cash and card transactions securely.
  • Facilitate the sale of both consumable and non-consumable products.
  • Maintain cleanliness and order at the front desk and reception area.
  • Assist with data entry, filing, and reports related to attendance and memberships.
  • Coordinate with trainers, coaches, and management for scheduling and operational updates.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the daily smooth operation of the center.
  • Ensure visitors follow safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Monitor access to the centre and ensure only authorized individuals enter.
  • Respond to emergency situations and report incidents to management.
  • Assist in organizing sports events and promotional activities.
  • Report maintenance issues or facility concerns to the appropriate department.
  • Support marketing and communication efforts by distributing promotional materials.
  • Ability to work on sundays and public holidays on a roaster basis
Your profile
  • HSC / Bac / International Baccalaureat.
  • A License in hospitality will be an advantage.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a dynamic environment.
  • Basic knowledge of membership management software or the ability to learn quickly.
  • Positive, customer-service-oriented attitude.
  • Passion for fitness and well-being.
