Assist Quality Manager – Domaine de Bel Ombre & Leisure in the implementation, maintenance, adherence, and training of Quality & Food Safety/Hygiene Standards across the Bel Ombre business units - including Heritage The Villas, Kaz’alala, Le Château de Bel Ombre, C Beach Club and the golf courses - as well as within the Leisure Cluster, which comprises Le Chamarel Restaurant, Bel Ombre Nature Reserve, Bel Ombre Heliport, World of Seashells and the 7 Coloured Earth.
1 - Capability:
• Motivate Team Members to create a customer service culture.
• Conduct training in line with Quality and Food Safety/Hygiene.
• Play an active role in the Quality team.
• Keep Superior informed about all unusual matters concerning any plans affecting his/her area (SOPs, corrective & improvement measures, etc).
2 - Customer:
• Establish and maintain employee relationships.
• Work closely with HODs for all quality and Food Safety/Hygiene related matters.
3 - Finance:
• Implement procedures to ensure a culture of waste management and cost management.
4 - Process:
• Maintain the Quality, Food Hygiene & Sustainable Development culture and system.
• Coordinate the implementation of Standards and ensuring adherence to these standards at all times.
• Identify needs for creating & updating SOPs with HODs.
• Ensure that Departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are properly documented, in accordance with established documentation structure.
• Carry out quality checks of guest related documents.
• Conduct Internal Quality Standards & Food Safety/Hygiene Audits, and regular Quality Checks and come up with audit reports.
• Conduct physical inspections on site, reports non-conformances and ensure corrective actions are taken.
• Assist Quality Manager to prepare and coordinate all external Quality & Food Safety Audits.
• Track and communicate guest feedback to HODs (CSI, Quality Audits & Checks, Social Medias, Guest Complaints, DM Reports, etc..).
• Follow up on Corrective Action and closure of non-conformities with Management Teams.
• Develop and deliver training to team-members on Quality Standards and Food Management System related topics.
• Suggest and initiate improvement initiatives relating to Quality and Food Management System.
5 - Sustainability & Compliance:
• Comply with all the sustainability commitments and practices implemented within business units.
• Notify the Sustainable Development Department of any matters that may pose any impact to the environment and society.
• Diploma or Degree in Tourism and Hospitality Management and/or Food Science and/or Quality Management or a similar field.
• Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.
• Computer literate (Words, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Good knowledge of Quality terms and concepts.
• Knowledge of Food act and International Food safety Guidelines.
• Having an eye for details in services standards.
• Show leadership abilities to drive projects.
• Dynamic & flexible.
• Ability to work independently and meeting deadlines.
• Assertive and Good communication skills both oral & written.
