Overview

The Purchasing Officer is responsible for procuring goods and services efficiently while ensuring compliance with quality, cost, and delivery requirements. This role involves verifying supplier invoices, maintaining records, and coordinating with internal departments to support smooth procurement operations.

  • The position is based at Bel Ombre.
Your role
  • Conduct supplier verifications, review invoices, and ensure accuracy in procurement transactions.
  • Cross-check Purchase Orders, Goods Received Notes, and invoices for discrepancies, resolving issues with the Storekeeper.
  • Collect and verify suppliers' invoices, ensuring correct unit prices as per the system price list.
  • Obtain credit notes from suppliers for undelivered or returned goods.
  • Ensure received goods meet quality specifications, check expiry dates, and confirm proper storage conditions with the Storekeeper.
  • Perform data entry for each consignment, ensuring proper recording and system updates.
  • Maintain cooperative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, providing efficient service and assistance.
Your profile
  • Higher School Certificate or equivalent; a Diploma in Supply Chain is a plus.
  • Previous experience in procurement or supply chain management is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including hotel management systems.
  • Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills for cost and benefit analysis.
