Overview

ER Property is looking for a Parking Technical Officer for Vivéa Business Park, which currently comprises 13 controlled parking zones. The Parking Technical Officer is responsible for the operation, monitoring and first-line technical support of parking access and control systems. The role ensures that access permissions are implemented accurately based on approved requests, system performance is maintained, records are kept up to date, and operational issues are promptly identified and escalated when required.

Your role
  • Operate and administer parking access systems, including access cards, tags, camera configurations, barriers and related control equipment.
  • Process the creation, amendment, suspension and removal of access rights strictly in line with approved requests and established procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date access control records, user databases and supporting documentation.
  • Order consumables and spare parts.
  • Monitor the performance of parking systems and identify technical faults, irregularities or service interruptions.
  • Perform first-level troubleshooting and escalate unresolved issues to service providers or internal support teams as required.
  • Coordinate preventive maintenance and follow up on corrective interventions to ensure system reliability and continuity.
  • Prepare report on access activity, system status, incidents and outstanding technical issues.
  • Provide accurate access logs and system information to support audits, investigations and management reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, confidentiality requirements and operational procedures in the handling of system data and access rights.
Your profile
  • Minimum Higher School Certificate (HSC) or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years of working experience.
  • Technical certificate or diploma in Electronics, IT Support, Systems and other related field OR experience in access control systems, parking systems, technical operations or a similar systems-based environment will be an advantage.
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Excel (data lists, filters, tracking logs, basic reporting).
  • Ability to use system software and access control platforms accurately.
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Ability to follow procedures and approval workflows strictly.
  • Demonstrated honesty, integrity and respect for confidentiality.
  • Effective communication and coordination skills when working with internal teams, external service providers and clients.
