Overview

Suntricity is searching for a Junior Technical Support Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting our Sales and Development teams by providing technical expertise, product insights, and after-sales assistance. He/She will combine strong technical knowledge with analytical and communication skills to help evaluate new products, advise on system configurations, and ensure compatibility with the local market.

Your role
  • Technical Support to Sales:
    • Provide pre-sales technical advice on product selection, sizing, and system design.
    • Support the sales team with technical documentation, product comparisons, and configuration guidance.
    • Assist in preparing technical proposals and responses to client inquiries.
  • Research & Development Support:
    • Collaborate with the development team on the evaluation and testing of new products
    • Provide feedback on product performance and suitability for the local market.
    • Support technical validations and field trials of new technologies.
  • After-Sales Support:
    • Provide first-line troubleshooting and technical assistance to customers and installers.
    • Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers for warranty or technical issues.
    • Maintain records of technical support cases and resolutions.
  • Market & Product Analysis:
    • Conduct market research and benchmark analyses of competitors’ products and solutions.
    • Identify trends, new technologies, and opportunities for product improvement.
    • Prepare comparative reports to support the company’s product strategy.
  • Customer & Internal Training:
    • Support training sessions for internal teams and clients on product features and configurations.
    • Help maintain updated technical documentation, datasheets, and guides.
Your profile
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in solar photovoltaic technologies and energy storage systems.
  • Basic understanding of PV system components (inverters, panels, batteries, etc.).
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
  • Team-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn
