Overview

Field Good Fresh Foods is looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Accounting & Administrative Officer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial record-keeping, smooth administrative operations, and timely reporting. This role requires a hands-on professional who is organized, reliable and eager to contribute to the overall efficiency of our accounting function.

Your role
  • Maintain and update accounting records, including trial balance, cashbook, and bank reconciliations.
  • Handle petty cash, prepare deposits, process receipts and supplier invoices, and ensure timely payments.
  • Prepare purchase orders, cheques, and reconcile customer and supplier accounts.
  • Follow up on client invoicing, debt collection, and overall cash flow monitoring.
  • Assist with month-end closing, financial reporting, and audit preparation (internal and external).
  • Support the maintenance of the Fixed Asset Register and ensure accurate reporting to the Accountant & Accounts Supervisor.
  • Maintain proper filing systems and records including confidential information.
  • Liaise with clients to address account queries and follow up on account-related matters.
  • Prepare and follow-up on bank transfer letters and assist with other administrative documentation.
  • Assist with various administrative and project-related tasks, including providing support during colleagues’ absence and occasional site visits.
Your profile
  • Diploma in Finance / ACCA Level 1 or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum of 3 years`  experience in accounting and administration.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Excellent command of English and French, both written and spoken.
  • Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills with high integrity.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented & ability to work in a dynamic environment.
